History of Graphic Design

In terms of innovating the design process, new media has continued to revolutionize the accessibility, speed, and creativity of how design can be approached and it’s power over shaping history. With the creation and mass-adoption of the digital realm, art has a new method of conveying meaning and impact surrounding the content presented, no longer relying on material basis or physical application. Through this course, I was able to explore the history of connection through the lens of design. Here, I was introduced to the language that design has to offer and how universal visual impact can be. UX and UI design in much the same way helps to streamline the process of effective communication by providing a universal understanding and expectation of how a platform would be laid out, leading to a product that serves as both visually stimulating and, in a way, engaging to interact with.
